HELP!!

I have started to look for ways to raise money for PCOS research.  When I first was diagnosed with PCOS, I was not able to find much information on how to deal with PCOS or even what it was for teenagers.   All the things I heard about either had to deal with women trying to get pregnant with PCOS or women in their mid 20s and 30s.   The donations from people and companies will allow us, teens, to have more information on what this syndrome is and how to fix it.  This syndrome affects 1 in 10 women, not at all a small number, yet doctors never do a routine screening for this, like they do for scoliosis or vaccines, some doctors have not even heard about this syndrome.  Inevitably, these young teens who are not treated with this go through the symptoms of PCOS and cannot find any solutions to their problems.  Usually, the doctors they go to put them on birth control, which only helps some of the symptoms and not the underlying problem, and by the time these women want to have children, they either have a hard time getting pregnant or cannot even have children.  We need to raise money and awareness so that many women are not braodsided with this syndrome when they are older and to also find different ways to treat this syndrome.

Lucky Brand Jeans application for grant has been submitted and is still being reviewed! Keep watching to see what happens! I am learning more about 501C3's and how to raise money for awareness.  You can also help by donating to research for PCOS!

Cartridge World, a place where you can refill your ink and toner cartridges, has been donating to PCOS research.

Cartridge World has raised about $450 and still increasing!
